You'll often hear it said around our church that "Prayer is the backbone of our church" — and we believe that with all our hearts. Without prayer, we are nothing. We pray because we serve a faithful Father who longs to commune with His people and to move powerfully on their behalf.

Before anything else, prayer is personal. We believe every believer is invited into ongoing, honest conversation with God — bringing our needs, worries, and thanksgiving directly to Him. As Paul writes in Philippians 4:6, we're called to present every situation to God in prayer, with a heart of gratitude.

We also pray together. Corporate prayer — believers gathered in agreement — carries a unique power, and James 5:16 reminds us that the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. Join us Wednesday nights at 7:30pm as we come together to seek God as one body.

At the root of it all, prayer is an act of dependence. In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus modeled how we should pray — acknowledging God's holiness, submitting to His will, and trusting Him for our daily needs. Every time we pray, we're declaring that we can't do this on our own, and we don't have to.
